I’m a self-taught artist. My style is influenced by independent black & white 90’s comics and the horror genre. Linework is the heart of everything I create and the foundation of my unique style, it’s a translation that I make. My art describes organic shapes and animals using bold dark lines to find unusual connections and add a touch of otherworldly strangeness. I use limited colour palettes to keep the feeling of the painting uncluttered. Primarily, I work with watercolour paints and acrylic inks, laying them down with paintbrushes and dip pens. I find the movement of the drawing and write it down, letting the watercolour direct my pen.
